Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Paris held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included this untitled work by Samir Rafi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,760.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samir Rafi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,493.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Samir Rafi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.760,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samir Rafi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 101.493,72).
