Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Samir Rafi for GBP 11,000.00 (€ 12,746.49). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part I at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Samir Rafi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 101,493.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Samir Rafi für GBP 11.000,00 (€ 12.746,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part I bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samir Rafi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 101.493,72).
