Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sam Samore could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | London auction, the work No. 41 changed hands for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,869.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Samore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tower of Lips in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 44,477.49).
