Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Killers no. 19 by Sam Samore for GBP 819.00 (€ 914.28). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Samore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tower of Lips in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 44,477.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Killers no. 19 von Sam Samore für GBP 819,00 (€ 914,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Samore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tower of Lips im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 44.477,49).
