Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Birds of Paradise) by Sam Falls. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,284.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Falls have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Every Season, All Weather in November last year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 48,823.02).
