The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,790,000.00 (€ 2,471,870.29), 40% above the upper estimate. Other works by Salvatore Scarpitta have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,535,000.00 (€ 2,940,418.20) in October 2019 for the work Housing Developed.
