Sold at the lower estimate price
In November last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Never More Pizza by Salvatore Scarpitta. The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvatore Scarpitta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Housing Developed in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 2,535,000.00 (€ 2,940,418.20).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Never More Pizza von Salvatore Scarpitta zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Scarpitta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Housing Developed im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.535.000,00 (€ 2.940.418,20).
