The work Tim & Dakota by Ryan McGinley was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,515.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan McGinley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alex (Giant Explosion), which sold at auction in November 2012 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,823.98).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.515,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan McGinley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alex (Giant Explosion) beobachtet, die im November 2012 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.823,98) versteigert wurde.
