In the 19th Century European Art, including Spanish and Orientalist Art auction, the work A street in the Casbah sold for GBP 80,400.00 (€ 119,309.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Swoboda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The carpet menders in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,161,250.00 (€ 1,475,381.20).
