Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rudolf Stingel was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 479,175.00 (€ 449,760.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Stingel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (After Sam) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 10,551,500.00 (€ 9,390,797.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rudolf Stingel kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 479.175,00 (€ 449.760,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Stingel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (After Sam) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.551.500,00 (€ 9.390.797,44).
