Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Mohammed Bensalaben Abdel Kader by Rudolf Bonnet was sold in the Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in February last year. The price achieved of HKD 378,000.00 (€ 43,073.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bonnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Scene in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 25,880,000.00 (€ 3,160,878.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Mohammed Bensalaben Abdel Kader von Rudolf Bonnet wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 43.073,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bonnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Scene im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 25.880.000,00 (€ 3.160.878,62).
