Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work A Balinese Man by Rudolf Bonnet. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 48,450.00 (€ 5,389.39), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bonnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Scene in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 25,880,000.00 (€ 3,160,878.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Balinese Man von Rudolf Bonnet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 48.450,00 (€ 5.389,39) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bonnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Scene im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 25.880.000,00 (€ 3.160.878,62).
