Auction result well in line with expectations
In January last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Eclectic, which included the work De Schilder Gusti Sugih (The Painter Gusti Sugih) by Rudolf Bonnet. The price achieved of HKD 16,380.00 (€ 1,874.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bonnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Scene in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 25,880,000.00 (€ 3,160,878.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Eclectic durch, in der auch die Arbeit De Schilder Gusti Sugih (The Painter Gusti Sugih) von Rudolf Bonnet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 16.380,00 (€ 1.874,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bonnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Scene im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 25.880.000,00 (€ 3.160.878,62).
