Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hibiscus by Rudolf Bonnet was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2020. The price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,158.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bonnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Scene in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 25,880,000.00 (€ 3,160,878.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hibiscus von Rudolf Bonnet wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.158,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bonnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Scene im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 25.880.000,00 (€ 3.160.878,62).
