The work Les Dix Coupoles (The Ten Domes) by Rudolf Bonnet was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,630.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bonnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Scene in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 25,880,000.00 (€ 3,160,878.62).

Die Arbeit Les Dix Coupoles (The Ten Domes) von Rudolf Bonnet wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.630,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bonnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Scene im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 25.880.000,00 (€ 3.160.878,62).
