Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Stele Inscription In Clerical Script by Ruan Yuan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 89,020.30). Other works by Ruan Yuan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,350,000.00 (€ 133,877.43) in May 2013 for the work Nine-character Couplet in Running Script.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stele Inscription In Clerical Script von Ruan Yuan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 89.020,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Ruan Yuan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.350.000,00 (€ 133.877,43) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit Nine-character Couplet in Running Script beobachtet.
