Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eight Characters Couplet In Clerical Script by Ruan Yuan was auctioned at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,370.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruan Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nine-character Couplet in Running Script in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,350,000.00 (€ 133,877.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eight Characters Couplet In Clerical Script von Ruan Yuan kam im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.370,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruan Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nine-character Couplet in Running Script im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.350.000,00 (€ 133.877,43).
