Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Ruan Yuan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,397.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 22,000.00 – 26,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruan Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nine-character Couplet in Running Script in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,350,000.00 (€ 133,877.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Ruan Yuan kam im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.397,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 22.000,00 – 26.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruan Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nine-character Couplet in Running Script im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.350.000,00 (€ 133.877,43).
