Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Lishu by Ruan Yuan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,417.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ruan Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nine-character Couplet in Running Script in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,350,000.00 (€ 133,877.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu von Ruan Yuan wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.417,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ruan Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nine-character Couplet in Running Script im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.350.000,00 (€ 133.877,43).
