Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Whitbread Stout At The Cross Keys by Rowland Hilder was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,849.18). Admittedly, works by Rowland Hilder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,465.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Whitbread Stout At The Cross Keys von Rowland Hilder wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.849,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rowland Hilder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.465,18).
