This artwork by Rowland Hilder achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Road To The Farm sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,289.44) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rowland Hilder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,465.18).

Für andere Arbeiten von Rowland Hilder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.465,18) versteigert wurde.
