Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included this untitled work by Rosson Crow. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,898.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rosson Crow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tea Room At The Plaza 1914, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,955.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rosson Crow zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.898,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rosson Crow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tea Room At The Plaza 1914 beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.955,95) versteigert wurde.
