Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rose Hilton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in July 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Garden Scene sold for GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,738.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rose Hilton; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in June 2019 with the realized price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,323.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rose Hilton erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Garden Scene für GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.738,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rose Hilton; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.323,33).
