Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Nude by Rose Hilton was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2003. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,716.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rose Hilton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,323.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Nude von Rose Hilton kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.716,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rose Hilton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.323,33) versteigert wurde.
