Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosa Bonheur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Roi de la forêt in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 607,500.00 (€ 540,672.84).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 20.781,38) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rosa Bonheur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Roi de la forêt im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 607.500,00 (€ 540.672,84).
