The work Cerf by Rosa Bonheur was sold in the European Art auction at Christies in New York in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,720.00 (€ 26,307.30), 54% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosa Bonheur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Roi de la forêt in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 607,500.00 (€ 540,672.84).

Die Arbeit Cerf von Rosa Bonheur wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 26.307,30) und damit 54% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rosa Bonheur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Roi de la forêt im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 607.500,00 (€ 540.672,84).
