Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le taureau gris by Rosa Bonheur was sold in the European Art auction at Christies in Paris in October this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 28,980.00 (€ 27,422.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosa Bonheur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Roi de la forêt in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 607,500.00 (€ 540,672.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le taureau gris von Rosa Bonheur wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion European Art bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 28.980,00 (€ 27.422,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rosa Bonheur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Roi de la forêt im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 607.500,00 (€ 540.672,84).
