The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,378.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosa Bonheur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Roi de la forêt in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 607,500.00 (€ 540,672.84).
