Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work French stag In An Autumn Landscape by Rosa Bonheur for USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,214.32). This price was achieved in the auction Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosa Bonheur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Roi de la forêt in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 607,500.00 (€ 540,672.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French stag In An Autumn Landscape von Rosa Bonheur für USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.214,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rosa Bonheur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Roi de la forêt im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 607.500,00 (€ 540.672,84).
