This work without title by Ron Nagle was sold in the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in July last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,600.00 (€ 12,350.52), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ron Nagle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Criminal Negligee, 2012, which sold at auction in November 2021 for EUR 47,500.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ron Nagle wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 12.350,52) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ron Nagle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Criminal Negligee, 2012 beobachtet, die im November 2021 für EUR 47.500,00 versteigert wurde.
