Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tigah, the Balinese Goddess by Romualdo Locatelli was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 490,065.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Romualdo Locatelli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Gambuh Dancer was auctioned for HKD 6,620,000.00 (€ 659,036.89).

Die Arbeit Tigah, the Balinese Goddess von Romualdo Locatelli kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 490.065,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Romualdo Locatelli konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Gambuh Dancer für HKD 6.620.000,00 (€ 659.036,89) versteigert.
