Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Arabian Shoemaker by Romualdo Locatelli for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,229.92). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Romualdo Locatelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gambuh Dancer in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 6,620,000.00 (€ 659,036.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Arabian Shoemaker von Romualdo Locatelli für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.229,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Romualdo Locatelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gambuh Dancer im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.620.000,00 (€ 659.036,89).
