Sold at the upper estimate price
The work The Flautist by Romualdo Locatelli was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The auction ended at the price of HKD 980,000.00 (€ 97,561.35), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 780,000.00 – 980,000.00. Admittedly, works by Romualdo Locatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gambuh Dancer in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 6,620,000.00 (€ 659,036.89).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Flautist von Romualdo Locatelli kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 980.000,00 (€ 97.561,35) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 780.000,00 – 980.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Romualdo Locatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gambuh Dancer im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.620.000,00 (€ 659.036,89).
