Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Romualdo Locatelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. In the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Ritratto Di Fu Ku Ko (Portrait Of Fu Ku Ko) sold for HKD 4,820,000.00 (€ 469,648.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Romualdo Locatelli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Gambuh Dancer sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of HKD 6,620,000.00 (€ 659,036.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Romualdo Locatelli erzielte im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Ritratto Di Fu Ku Ko (Portrait Of Fu Ku Ko) für HKD 4.820.000,00 (€ 469.648,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Romualdo Locatelli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Gambuh Dancer im Oktober 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 6.620.000,00 (€ 659.036,89).
