Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'The Vanished World' by Roman Vishniac. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,867.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Roman Vishniac have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2010 the work 'The Vanished World' was auctioned for USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,242.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'The Vanished World' von Roman Vishniac zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.867,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Roman Vishniac konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2010 die Arbeit 'The Vanished World' für USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.242,55) versteigert.
