In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Talmud, Warschau. by Roman Vishniac for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Herbst 2021 - The Art of Photography at Grisebach and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Roman Vishniac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'The Vanished World' in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,242.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Talmud, Warschau. von Roman Vishniac für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Herbst 2021 - The Art of Photography bei Grisebach erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roman Vishniac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'The Vanished World' im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.242,55).
