Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roj Friberg could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Isländskt landskap" changed hands for SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,287.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roj Friberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ”Slottsinteriör”, which sold at auction in November 2019 for SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,527.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roj Friberg konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Isländskt landskap" für SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.287,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roj Friberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ”Slottsinteriör” beobachtet, die im November 2019 für SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.527,09) versteigert wurde.
