The work Two Ducks by Roger Tory Peterson was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2010. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,352.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roger Tory Peterson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work James Flamingos in the Andes, which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,219.10).

Die Arbeit Two Ducks von Roger Tory Peterson kam im September 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.352,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Roger Tory Peterson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit James Flamingos in the Andes beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.219,10) versteigert wurde.
