Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roger Tory Peterson could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Quails And Wood-Partidges changed hands for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,390.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roger Tory Peterson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work James Flamingos in the Andes in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,219.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roger Tory Peterson konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
