Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Winter Morning by Rodger McPhail was sold in the The Scottish Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 720.00 (€ 1,048.61). Admittedly, works by Rodger McPhail have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grouse in Flight in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,752.88).

Die Arbeit Winter Morning von Rodger McPhail wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion The Scottish Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 720,00 (€ 1.048,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodger McPhail auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grouse in Flight im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.752,88).
