The work When The Sun Visited The Earthworld by Rodel Tapaya was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 650,000.00 (€ 76,491.52), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Rodel Tapaya have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 76,755.39) in October 2020 for the work Repatriated Bodies.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 650.000,00 (€ 76.491,52) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Rodel Tapaya haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 76.755,39) im Oktober 2020 für die Arbeit Repatriated Bodies beobachtet.
