A top price for Rodel Tapaya
The work Repatriated Bodies by Rodel Tapaya was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 76,755.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. With this result, Repatriated Bodies is even the most expensive work of art by Rodel Tapaya that we have observed at auctions so far.
