This work without title by Rodel Tapaya was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,693.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodel Tapaya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Repatriated Bodies, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 693,000.00 (€ 76,755.39).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rodel Tapaya kam im November 2019 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.693,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodel Tapaya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Repatriated Bodies beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 693.000,00 (€ 76.755,39) versteigert wurde.
