The work Visiting Fairy Land by Rodel Tapaya was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,558.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodel Tapaya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Repatriated Bodies, which sold at auction in October 2020 for HKD 693,000.00 (€ 76,755.39).

Die Arbeit Visiting Fairy Land von Rodel Tapaya kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.558,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodel Tapaya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Repatriated Bodies beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für HKD 693.000,00 (€ 76.755,39) versteigert wurde.
