Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Mountain Fantasies by Rodel Tapaya. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 58,014.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Rodel Tapaya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2020 the work Repatriated Bodies was auctioned for HKD 693,000.00 (€ 76,755.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain Fantasies von Rodel Tapaya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 58.014,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Rodel Tapaya konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2020 die Arbeit Repatriated Bodies für HKD 693.000,00 (€ 76.755,39) versteigert.
