Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aerei in velocità sul lago by Roberto Marcello Baldessari was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 31,800.00 (€ 37,046.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roberto Marcello Baldessari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Espansione di luce + movimento" (forme dinamiche decima), which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 130,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aerei in velocità sul lago von Roberto Marcello Baldessari kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 31.800,00 (€ 37.046,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Roberto Marcello Baldessari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Espansione di luce + movimento" (forme dinamiche decima) beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 130.200,00 versteigert wurde.
