The work La Fucina 1 by Roberto Marcello Baldessari was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 26,000.00 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Roberto Marcello Baldessari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Espansione di luce + movimento" (forme dinamiche decima) in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 130,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Fucina 1 von Roberto Marcello Baldessari wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 26.000,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roberto Marcello Baldessari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Espansione di luce + movimento" (forme dinamiche decima) im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.200,00.
