Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robert Zandvliet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2007. In the Twentieth Century Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Zandvliet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Vijver) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Zandvliet erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Twentieth Century Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Zandvliet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.800,00.
