Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Abstract Composition by Robert Zandvliet was sold in the Twentieth Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2007. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Zandvliet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Vijver) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Robert Zandvliet wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Twentieth Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Zandvliet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.800,00.
