Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2018 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Robert Yarber. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 875.00 (€ 747.48). Admittedly, works by Robert Yarber have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Expenditure Of Excess in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,146.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Yarber zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 875,00 (€ 747,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Yarber auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Expenditure Of Excess im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.146,63).
